2009 At A Glance Part 1

So to begin with the major stuff...



In April I bought my first house in a new subdivsion in Meridian. I have really enjoyed being a homeowner, but I still feel like I pay rent every month to some higher up. That I don't really own a house, but I suppose that just takes some getting used to. I have learned a lot with this house and I am lucky my dad has been around to help with the handyman stuff. I had to do my own landscaping in the back and ended up be taken by some jerk. I am still trying to et my money back from that. Live and learn, right?

I have been plagued with health issues this year and to you they may not seem like a lot, but for me it's a ton. I never have any health issues! I hurt my back at work which has been a crappy experience and wish the whole thing was over. Then I was told I have Mono...at least a 3month illness. Yeah...don't recommend.

In June I went to visit family in Arizona which was an absolute blast! It was the first time all the cousins were all adults and could go out and have fun together. I hope to make this an every year thing. I don't have any sisters or brothers and really no connections except my mom in Idaho so it was soooo nice to connect with my cousins.

I suppose the biggest news is meeting the love of my life which sounds sooo cheesy, but it's the only way to describe it. Amazingly we met and knew right from the start that we were the one for each other which lead to an engagement Thanksgiving weekend at Cannon Beach. It has been absolutely wonderful! I never knew love existed like this which makes me sounds all mushy and gross so I will leave it at that.

Now it's 2010. A new year! Hopefully it will be a good one and one to fully enjoy!
